Anyone who wants and feels called can now apply for a job at the big music festival Starlite in Marbella, where 380 positions in a variety of professions are available.

Starlite_marbellaThe interviews will take place in the Congress Palace in Marbella “Palacio de Congresos” during these three days only:

  • June 1st between 4 p.m and 8 p.m.
  • June 2nd between 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. and 4 p.m – 8 p.m.
  • Friday June 3rd between 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. and 4 p.m. – 8p.m.

Those wishing to apply for a job must bring a Curriculum with a photo, and DNI/NIE number. Applicants must be over 18 years. It has been possible to apply via the Internet until now, but now at the last minute, only applicants who appear in person will be considered.

The salary depends on the tasks, but varies between € 1,480 and € 4,860 gross. The following positions are wanted: Hostesses, dancers, bartenders, bar managers, janitors, cleaners, plumbers, carpenters, gardeners, PR people, errand boys / girls etc.

The Starlite festival lasts for 38 days and most labor contracts are being signed for a month and a half since the festival must both be mounted up and down. The organizer announces that in addition to the 380 who are being employed directly, the festival will also generate 500 indirect jobs (locally). The festival is expected to contribute with more than 80 million euros to the Costa del Sol.

About Starlite in Marbella

Starlite is an international music festival that takes place in a natural auditorium in the old quarry in Nagüeles just outside Marbella. Through its limited format with only 2200 places, the Starlite festival offers a unique proximity to the artists. The international press considers Starlite festival in Marbella as one of the most important festivals in Europe and comparing it with the Monte-Carlo Sporting Summer Festival.

The festival takes place this year between July 14th and August 20th, and among the artists who are going to perform are: Tom Jones, Carlos Santana, Charles Aznavour, Il Divo, José Luis Perales, Malu, Alejandro Sanz, Robert Plant and Noche Movida.
