On Tuesday, two Moroccan imams from the Masllid al Fath mosque in Ibiza were arrested by the Guardia Civil after expressing their support to DAESH.
The two imams have repeatedly supported the terrorist organization DAESH (ISIS) on social media. The two imams are 31og 35 years old and the Guardia civil are concerned about the impact they may have had on the mosque’s younger members.
Since 2015 the Spanish authorities has arrested 156 jihadists.
Daesh is the Arabic equivalent of Isil or ISIS, in Arabic al-Dawla al-Islamiyya fi al-Iraq wa al-Sham.
