Between Monday 28. August and Wednesday 30. August it is quite likely that the small area of the Low pressure will move towards the south-west of the country and will remain almost stationery in that area for the first part of the week, causing rain to affect most of Spain, except the Baleares and Canary Islands. It is likely that the heaviest downpours and storms will occur in central and southern parts of the country, particularly in the eastern half of Andalucia and in Castilla-La Mancha and Madrid. Valencia and Murcia on Costa Blanca seem to get some rain and thunder on Monday, Tuesday and wednesday .
AEMET emphasizes however that a small change in the position of the Low pressure area would affect the distribution and intensity of the rainfall.
