Air traffic controllers in Spain have announced that there will a strike on four dates in June.
The dates for the strike will be 8th, 10th, 12th and 14th of June when the summer traffic is starting to increase. These strikes will last for two hours in the morning from 10 am to 12 pm and two hours in the afternoon from 6 pm to 8 pm.
The strike is carried out in protest against the treatment a number of air traffic controllers have been given for actions in 2010. Back then the government called in the army to take over control towers to try to break up a strike by air traffic controllers which paralysed spanish airports. The strike was the result of a dispute over pay and conditions with Spanish airports authorities AENA.
