New bike trails in Costa Blanca

Pilar de la Horadada municipality south of Orihuela Costa has decided to build three new bike trails one of which runs along the entire coast up to Mil Palmeras.

The municipality wants to invite to a more active lifestyle, but the trails are designed for everyday use and not for athletes. These will be easy slopes where you can experience the nature and enjoy cycling, says councilor in Pilar de la Hordada, Eva Martinez. The budget of the project is 100,000 euros and half of it comes from the Ministry of Tourism.

The ferst route to go from Pinor Campoverde, through the center and out to the coast of Torre de la Hordada. This route is 6 km long.

The sceond route will go in a circle around the center of Pilar de hordada and is also 6 km long.

The third and longest route is 15 km long and will go along the entire coast of the municipality until Mil Palmeras to the border of Orihuela Costa.
