Control of all types of vehicles will be possible from Monday the 25th of April in the new ITV facility in Las Lagunas, Mijas Costa.
The new office will primarily serve residents of Mijas, Fuengirola and Benalmadena municipality, but it will likely be many in the inland municipalities Alhaurin el Grande, Coin and others who also will benefit from the new offer. Especially since it is so well located next to the major shopping centers regularly visisted by residents from the inland. The station is equipped with the latest technology in the field. It has five inspection lanes. Two that are intended for light vehicles, two are designed for all types of vehicles, and one that is designed for motorcycles and scooters.
In Mijas municipality there are 57,000 registered vehicles, of which about 40,000 are passenger cars, more than 7,000 are motorcycles and 6,000 mopeds. Besides, there are 4,500 trucks and 500 other vehicles such as tractors, buses etc. So there is no shortage of jobs for those working on the new control station.
