With three months left to Seville’s April fair it is now time for the presentation of this year’s flamenco fashion. It is being presented in the traditional way on a major international exhibition.
It is the 22nd edition of this major fashion show “Simoff 2016”. Last year’s Simoff was attended by more than 60,000 people and it is the only show of its kind in the world. Partly there is an exhibition of flamenco fashion and accessories such as jewelry, castanets, shoes, etc. In total there are 70 exhibitors in the commercial part.
In addition there is a variety of activities. The cosmetics company Max Factor shows the latest trends in makeup and it’s professional makeup artists are showing how it should be done. But the most interesting part is, of course, all the fashion views on the catwalk.
27 professional models will display over 1,200 flamenco dresses from 35 different designers and companies. The models are styled by world-renowned stylist Paco Cerrato.
Lina and Pilar VERA Molina Moda Flamenca, Loli Vera, Ana Morón, Aldebaran, Margarita Freire, Arte y Compas, Trinitrán, Patricia Pajares Bazarot, Javier García, Sara de Benítez, Pilar Rubio, Atelier Rima, Cristina García, Sonia and Isabelle, Carmen Latorre, Hermanas Serrano Rosapeula, Carmen Vega Amparo Pardal, Álex de la Huerta, Maria de Gracia Rodríguez, Antonio Manuel Gutierrez, Isabel de Vargas, Veronica de la Vega, Andrew Pocrid, Miriam Galvin, Ernesto Sillero, El Abanico Artesanía, Inés de la Fuente, Aránega, Yolanda Rivas and Pedro Bejar, winner of the latest edition of the Young Designers Contest.
There are also a number of really famous models appearing on the catwalk. Among other Eva Gonzalez, Desiré Cordero María José Suárez and Noelia López.

Entrance to the fair is € 5 and if you want to see the catwalk it costs 10 €. Children under 7 years have free entrance.
