The campaign runs until February 29th 2016. The discounts on high-speed trains and other long-distance is 50, 60 and 70 percent of the original price.

The campaign is called “De rebajas en Tren” and here are some price examples:

Traveling between Madrid and Barcelona starts at 32 Euro. Madrid to Seville costs from 23 Euro. Madrid to Valencia and Alicante will cost 20 euros. Madrid to Lisbon costs only 24 euro. A trip to Cordoba, Seville and Malaga from Barcelona costs 35 Euro. A trip to the Basque Country (Bilbao and San Sebastian) from Madrid is 19.60 Euro.

It is of course not only from the big cities like Madrid and Barcelona that one can travel cheaply, this applies to the entire country. The easiest way to check prices and make reservations is via Renfe website, but of course you can also purchase tickets at any staffed station anytime. The offer from Renfe is available here.
