The Spanish air traffic controllers union, USCA, has called off a 12-hour strike that was scheduled on Saturday, October 3rd.
USCA has reached an agreement with Enaire, the public organization which is their counterpart. This does not imply that they are in complete agreement yet, but it means that they will take up new negotiations trying to get a normal relationship. Both sides have stated that they believe they will soon be able to find a definitive solution to the conflict.
There has so far been nine strikes in the period between June, July and September. Anyone who wants to know more about these strikes and background can read this article: Air traffic controllers strikes again.
